hello hello hello peeps Rand and diam bro here your friendly local realtor couple that works together she’s pickle I am the pickle lady and we had the most exciting trip that we wanted to share with all of you and something you should know especially if you are a small plane you know pilot if you love to fly um we won at a social event a beautiful plane ride on a private plane yeah um over Sedona and mile crater donated by Bob Treadway Bob Treadway cheers to you shout out to Bob appreciate that he has his own private plane it was fascinating uh he called us up and said today’s a good day not so windy let’s do it so off we went into the wild blue yonder yep right yeah um it was the coolest experience honestly it was really neat I had that we had the headsets in so you can hear the talking between the tower and uh and that’s right and Bob and the tower and other Pilots that were there and he’s chatting with us and pointing things out below and had a lot of kids from Embry Riddle that’s the local University that uh trains a lot of pilots and you could hear the kids uh you know I’m gonna do a touch and go I’m gonna do a touch and go touch and go is when they come down they land they immediately take off uh they need to get a certain number of takeoffs and landings under their belt for their credential it was fascinating yeah was watch about two hours yeah and um what we’ve learned is first of all we saw where you park your planes he’s got this amazing garage I mean I had no idea this whole infrastructure existed out in our little local Prescot Regional Airport yeah they have rows and rows of private uh garages where people Park their planes and what we found out is there is a ton of people who live here who love to fly and own their own ples so if you are one of those people you should know this is the place to be immediate access like our friend Bob Treadway who took us out he goes you know I belong to a big group of guys we all fly we were all career you know either military or pilots and we still fly it’s our passion so they get up they go grab a burger they fly out they go fly to Sedona they go to any of these other small airports and go on a little trip sometimes they just fly out for an early lunch late dinner and they just come back to Prescot how cool is that all these little airports have great cheeseburgers oh yeah they all have good yeah theyers diners are great so he said it’s you know it’s just our passion and we have a little group and we get together so if you are a serious flyer and that’s your your passion you should know that you have the ability to park either in this nice garage or just park on the ground where as as yeah some people don’t have it but anyway um it’s a pretty extensive system they have out there yeah so a lot of people are attracted to that and own their own planes and they love to build here in Prescot so they can fly and have it right in their backyard yeah and uh keep their plane nearby and go on nice trips and explore the world one of the things we learned is there’s a a whole Market out there for uh plane rentals yep and uh plane char ing so if you don’t have a plane but you’d like to kind of pretend that you do yeah you don’t have to own one you don’t have to buy one you know how to fly you can rent there’s a lot of people out there who are happy own a plane or want to own a plane one of the options available to you is to rent it out to defas some of the cost of Runing and operating a plane uh so little little things that you learn or you could just you know do like us and just kind of Charter I guess yeah officially we were a charter we were a charter we had a lot of fun yeah we got to see a lot of neat things and he was telling us all about it and he said yeah you know I fly two or three times a week yeah just with some friends we get out there and enjoy the beautiful sites and the weather and and they come back and it was just fascinating I’ve never seen that side a lot of fun a lot of fun we flew over mile crater which I had never been to tell them about mile crater mile crater is uh south of I40 it’s probably if you drove it it would probably be a three-hour Drive something like that you have to go up to 40 and then head east then you got to go down to where the crater is but yeah big ass Rock just hit the earth and uh I don’t know how many years ago it is millions yeah a long time I mean yeah not it’s unbelievable it is literally a mile across the hole in the earth that this thing hit so yeah so it’s amazing we’re here in Arizona absolutely it’s so big it’s quite impressive and it’s really cool to fly over it and look down and see how big and how deep it is yeah pretty cool yeah so if you are interested in perhaps learning how to fly too there are all kinds of people out there to teach you how to fly and get your hours in and you can get your own plane we are not going to do that we don’t have time but I would be happy Bob hint htin to go on another flight yeah or hire somebody to take us out it was something to do something really cool we we got to get boots on the ground over at uh yeah mile crater as well it was really cool flying over it and seeing it from the air but having done that I I’d like to actually go and walk and you can walk around the crater so if it’s a the dinosaurs thought when they saw that thing coming they must have been like well goodbye forever yeah get the hell out of here yeah I think they said goodbye forever goodbye for well that’s not the one that killed them that was just a warmup is that a warmup yeah I don’t know if that one dates back to I I don’t know I don’t know 65 million years is the dinosaur I don’t know when that mile crater hit but uh might have been the start yeah so if you if you so you can go down into the middle of it yep you can walk around the perimeter of it so I guess if you if it’s a mile crater and you walk around the perimeter of you know the edge of it all the way around I guess that would be a mile and a half I guess I don’t know we’ll have to think about it that’s a high school geometry oh yeah I don’t know I don’t want to figure that two pi r who cares it’s just a cool place to go who cares two no two pi r would be uh three three miles oh my Lord three miles okay there you have it there you have it folks uh anyway we cannot say enough about what a cool cool cool airport we have and how many people out there we didn’t even know own their own plane yeah it’s like a whole you know whole culture yeah it was there we go Cheers Cheers on Jinx yeah jinxes jinxes yeah it was pretty cool we really enjoyed it so anyway if you are a pilot and you’re you know thinking of where can I land where I could keep my plane close by Prescot is a really good Contender yeah it’s a really good Contender or if you even want to learn they have plenty of instructors because you know we have Embry Riddle and that’s where the pilots come to tr so if you’re thinking about trying something new or you want to bring your plane with you when you move think of preset yeah we’re thinking about getting into flying you know Char our flight absolutely you know just Char our flight and see if you’re into see what it’s all about yeah it was cool it was so cool we had a good time and thank you Bob Treadway absolutely for taking us out we had a lovely time so
